Stock Show and Rodeo

This weekend the Dudleys arrived in town for all the Hereford events taking place at the Stock Show. Uncle Cameron and Jordan came Friday afternoon and spent the night with us. On Saturday Uncle Cam loaded up Jordan and Landman and took them to the rodeo!




Both boys are in hog heaven when they get to go off on adventures with Cameron!


After the rodeo the boys met the hubby, me, the twins and Meemaw and Pops for lunch at one of our favorite Mexican food restuarants down in the stockyards!

After lunch Meemaw and Pops had to attend hereford functions, so the twins, daddy and me, headed home for a nap! yeah - except Daddy is the only one that actually took one! :(

We met back up with everyone for dinner later that evening. It was the longest wait in history - but I think only because the twins and myself were running on fumes - thankfully we all made it to that silly delieruim state eventually and we all survived unscathed... :)

Pops and Reidy Pete stretching their legs as well! Since the twins LOVE walking it has become a little difficult to control them when out at places - They want to go and go where THEY want! So we are working on them holding someones hand and being okay with it! Kinda like teaching a dog to walk on a leash! LOL! I never dreamed that would be an issue but it is.

We have had amazing weather the last couple of days so the twins have actually gotten to spend sometime playing outside! Yippeee!

It was a fun weekend - I think everyone will need the week to recover! Also makes me a little sad because it means we get robbed of Meemaw and Pops' weekly visit this coming week. FROWN!
