Boy Genius!

Ignore my horrible voice! I am having serious allergy issues this week. I also should of turned the lights on...but you get the point of what a smart little boy I have on my hands! He will usually grab the ring but the blinking red light had him far more intrigued! Sister generally pulls the lid off and tries to stick it in her mouth! Like everything!

Just had to brag on beautiful little boy!

Dr. Pepper Rocks!

I think Ella is going to be just like her mom and uncle Cameron - Dr. Pepper-aholics!

She had finished her bottle but was bound and determined to check out what I had been drinking. And like everything these days - she went straight to her mouth with the can when I gave it to her! Gonna have to watch her like a hawk- no telling what she will put in her mouth!

Such a SMART and cute little boy! Don't you just want to kiss on him!

So cute how they sleep in the exact same position most of the time! They are getting really close to growing out of these sleepers but it has been a life-saver for Ella's reflux!

This was taken the day before my 27th birthday! I was going through old pictures and came across this one we took as a way to break the news to mark's parents. We slipped this one and the one of the very first sonogram in with a bunch of other pictures. Joy caught on immediately... Bob took a little longer! LOL! -
With my parents we just made the trip down one afternoon and I just blurted it out to them. I am not one for ceremony! LOL!
When we saw this come up on the screen - the hubby and I both about fainted! But see the difference in the size. We finally found our voice when the sonogram lady told the doctor this is A and this is B! I think I said "Does that mean there are TWO babies!!???" I am sure the doctor wanted to say "Here's Your Sign"!
So from the very first moment - they had concerns about the difference. So I got to be stressed the entire shortened pregnancy! But my hubby says that I would be stressed if I didn't have something to stress about!
We took the pregnancy test the day before my birthday and then had to go to Comanche for the weekend - wedding and easter! We didn't say anything to my family. I wanted to get confirmation from the doctor first! But people who knew me... could tell something was up when I switched from Dr. Pepper to Strawberry Lemonade! Ladies at work were especially suspicious - when we all went out of town one weekend and I never drank a Dr. Pepper. They were a little annoyed that I took so long to actually confirm their gut instincts! LOL!
One day when the twins are grown and out of the house and I have a little time - I might go back though all the sonogram photos we have and post a few more! With twins we got twice the photos and twice the visits to the sonogram lady! Basically got a sonogram every 2 to 3 weeks. sometimes they would print out an entire album for us it seemed! The ones that are labeled as baby A and baby B are fun to see turn into Reid and Ella!

My Babies

I have had help in the way of a husband this past week and this as he is on vacation, so I have had a little more time to go through pictures and post. Here is just a cute one I took on my phone while the twins were watching GLEE with their momma!
I think my little man is gonna be like me and like watching movies. He stays mesmerized by TV. Hopefully doesn't mean he will turn into a couch potato! Just curious. As always - Ella is lookin' at the camera!

28th Birthday

I turned 28 years old yesterday and I am having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that I am only two years away from being 30! Sheesh - I told my husband that I still don't feel like an adult - but I guess seeing as how I have 3 kids, a husband, a job, a mortgage and all the adult related stress you can think of - I certainly should feel like an adult! Since I have never been one to make a huge deal about anything, my birthday passed rather uneventfully. Most of the weekend was spent at a baseball tournament in Cleburne. We did meet my parents in Granbury for dinner - which marked the twins first trip into a restaurant! Yes - I know, but their mother is a huge germaphobe and the last thing I want is people breathing on or even looking at my babies! hahaha! Everyone tells me to get over it because people want to see my adorable kiddos - but my answer is "YOU aren't going to be the one dealing with two SCREAMING sick kids now are you!" So they will continue to be off limits to everyone except family!!!
I also broke down and forced the family to take a quick family photo. Which since I hate having my picture taken was a real stretch for me. I think my husband and I will forever look tired from now on! So sad!
My one request for a birthday gift was a baby-less nap. I have not slept since September without a baby either in bed with me or in their bed next to mine! Needless to say - I DIDN'T get that gift.

Reid is like his mom - hates having his picture taken. Also, this was taken at about 10 p.m. so everyone was ready for bed.

Another attempt... 7 year old boys...what a handfull!

In the ready position.

Pre-game pep talk from coach, who is somewhere in the middle of all that!
Post-game talk.

Pre-game meal. Gotta have a full stomach!

My Hanes Commercial

Three of the five members of our family were dressed like they had been cast in a Hanes commercial today. They looked super cute and allowed me to take their picture!

While waiting for mom and dad to eat lunch - Reid watched a little Adam-12. Reid watchin' Reed. Maybe he will follow in his daddy's law enforcement footsteps!

Ella was not as interested in Adam-12 and opted to take a quick cat nap!

How sweet are they? Daddy and his little girl.

Of course -Ella is looking at the camera and Daddy is trying to watch Adam-12.

A little play time with his future little police officer Reid.

Havin' fun with daddy. Smiling Taylor men.
Something exciting must of happened on Adam-12. Either an arrest or a shoot-out!

Big brother was at school and momma was behind the camera!

Visitor

A talented little visitor to our bird feeder. He is just so cute stuffin' his face. Too funny to run off!

Just Pictures - Pretty Day

Okay - Nothing extraordinary today - Just a very pretty day and three beautiful kiddos.

Brother and sister hangin' out in their pjs before getting the day started!

Reid has discovered toes and it doesn't matter who they belong to!

"No Momma ! Wait!"

"Those shoes cost how much?!"

"Ella wants to buy what?"

Something devious on her mind!

"Say what?" - Also found out today that Reid is allergic to squash... gave squash baby food to him and he broke out in a rash...well his excesma became inflamed!
Reading a fashion magazine with my momma. Pickin' out lots of fun stuff!
Spending some time outside with the whole family on a beautiful evening.
Beautiful boy... "Are my ears glowing?"
A very curious little girl.
Getting a feel for that green stuff!
It tickles the toes!

Also very determined about everything she does!
Such a cute and chubby little arm! - My how far we have come!
What was that?

Sweet little girl toes!
Together forever - forever adorable.
Daddy and his little lady.

Really working over his horse rattle.
"From my good side please!"

Storytime courtesy of big brother.

Not too thrilled about storytime. Seems more like work to big brother.

Reid Marshall and Landon Robert-Hutson... brothers.

Ella's preferred method of transportation and relaxation.

Wrestling

Yesterday morning, Reid was insisting on working his way over to his sister. Once he got there they engaged in a little wrestling match! Uncle Cameron says that Ella is fighting dirty! It really is fun to watch them play with each other. Too adorable!

Easter 2010

Easter this year was spent in Comanche at Meemaw and Pops! It was rather quiet. No uncles or aunts came in - so it was just us and grandpa! The twins didn't really do much egg hunting but they did walk around with big brother while he "missed" a ton of eggs! It will be a lot more fun for everyone next year when Landman has a little competition for the eggs! Although Landman may not find it near as fun! We will have to wait and see! I opted to use my new little flip camera for quick stuff and I am rather disappointed in the quality of photos - Shoulda used my normal camera. I will get copies of the photos Pops took and post- they are much better quality.

Ella paitently waiting for mama to get everything ready so she can go see Meemaw and Pops!

Isn't she just adorable hugging her little pink pony!

Finally arrived at Comanche and immediately went into Pops' arms where she stayed for the next 24 hours!

Dressed in her bunny britches for egg hunting!

Picture is a little blurry... but check out her bunny tail!
Three adorable children - I know everyone thinks THEIR own children are the worlds cutest ever, but let's be honest people - MINE really ARE the WORLDS CUTEST!!
Reid and Ella with their Easter bunnies!
Landman on the hunt for loot!

Sadly, it was overcast and a little chilly - so Reidy Pete and Pea got hauled around bundled up!
Pea making her best bunny rabbit face!
I think we have a sleepy left eye! Just adds to his level of cuteness!

Big brother waiting for someone to point out more eggs!
Child will not know what to think when he has to compete for eggs!

Found the prize egg with money in it!
A portion of his take after he has unloaded his basket once!

Look mom! No hands!

Just chillin' with Daddy after a big Easter meal!

Finally crashed ...

Landman hunting for eggs. Daddy giving instructions and a little concerned that his son has not gotten his investigative abilities and not too good at searching a scene for evidence. Must learn the grid method soon!
