Busy Week...

It has been a pretty crazy week and a half or so. From unexpected trips to Austin... Pops, Meemaw, Cameron and Jordon; to expected trips to Austin...the hubby; baseball practices, working concession stands, Momma and babies making a solo trip to Comanche; trying to get work done, needless to say it has been a fairly wild week.
So I am a little late on pictures but here is a quick few. Landman has his first tournament the weekend of the 13th, so hopefully we will have some good pictures of baseball....sheessh and so it begins again...

Daddy tryin' out a motorized booger getter... Did not work at all. Reid just giggled through the whole thing. Can't beat just the simple cheap bulb syringe things!

So momma finally caved and dressed them alike, and I have to admit, they do look preety darn adorable. Guess I will break down and do it a little more often, while I still can.

Boys Will Be Boys

Got a call while I was at work yesterday. It was the nurse at school asking me to come pick up Landman. He and his buddies had engaged in a rather rough game of tag. Thriller took a hard shove and ended up on the ground with his mouth connecting with a buddy's foot. Needless to say - he is now minus one front tooth! ha! At least it wasn't a permanent one. Just got rid of a baby tooth! She did say Thriller was pretty hysterical from the blood!

Twins are just doin' their thing! Working hard to get little miss thang to go back to sleepy in her own bed. Daddy spoiled her and now momma is working to undo it! FROWN!

Made for Each Other

We don't put much stock into Valentine's Day around our house. I mean really, what is the point? In my opinion as husband and wife we should put forth the effort everyday to make sure the other knows just how much they mean to us and that we love each other... so why on Valentine's do we need to spend a bunch of money.
So, on this Valentine's Day - we were reminded just how perfect we are for one another, when we gave each other our cards... Yes, that is correct - we had both picked out the SAME card for each other! What two other people but two who are the yin to the other's yang, would some how wade through the bazillions of Valentine's Day cards out there and pick the exact same one!

Yes, he most definately is my other half! which I will love till the day I die..

Reid Scores!

Big boy finally rolled over today! Yippee! That boy just has to be in the mood. Acted like he had been doing it for months!

Doctors have told us that we judge them developmentally as if they were born on their actual due date. So even though they are almost five months old really. Their adjusted age is about to be 3 months old. So if you look at it that way- they are way ahead of schedule! So hopefully we are caught somewhere in between and it won't be too long before we catch up to our real age!!

Keeping our fingers crossed and continuing to pray we keep firing on all cylinders!

Snow Day!

More snow came overnight and about 4 a.m. our power went out - which made me extremely NERVOUS! Being without power and with two little babies would not of been ideal! But luckily it came back on right about 7 a.m. when we were needing to start getting the babies fed! Just in the nick of time!

More Snow Pictures

Now don't get me wrong, it is beautiful but so are clear blue skies and 75 degree days! I prefer the latter thank you very much! Some intelligent person at Fort Worth ISD decided school should be open today - so the hubby drug the kiddo up to school only to have them call 3 hrs. later saying "Come pick up your kids!" Ignorance is so irritating!

They are starting to realize "hey, who is that person.... you seem very familiar...hmmm" It is so cute to watch them look at each other and either break into a huge grin or start screaming. I have a feeling this will be their reaction to each other for the rest of their lives! hahaha

Fed, happy and awaiting nap time!

We have a bit of a routine of eating breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and then hanging out with momma while brother and daddy get ready in the morning, then once the house is all quiet, momma lays down with us and we nap and momma watches Gordon Ramsay.(she usually sneaks a nap too!)

If you don't know who Gordon Ramsay is or haven't experience the entertainment that is Gordon Ramsay, then you must check him out. I would basically eat anything he cooked. He makes it all look good and he is incredibly funny! - Meemaw won't watch him because she thinks he has a potty mouth... but oh well!

Pictures were taken with my phone, so they aren't so great. I apologize! - don't always have my camera handy - but my phone is always nearby! hahaha! How else would work find me!

Ella Wins!

Little miss thang won the "Roll Over" race today! She rolled from her stomach to her back twice! Twin brother should be crossing that finish line just any day as well! Not to make excuses for the boy... but he does have a little bit more weight to get rolled over! hahaha!

One day Reid looks like he is on the verge and the next day Ella is doing everything she can to get rolled over...
On this day, Ella was bound and determined to get over. Twin brother pushed up on his elbows looked around, saw nothing exciting and laid back down and just chilled...He is so easy going compared to sister!


I am going to be a handfull for my momma and daddy!

Tiny Dancer!

My little Ella finally fits into her first pair of LEG WARMERS! Momma's little dancer is on her way! I have looked every where for a black onesie ... pink tights and leg warmers are easy to find, but I have yet been able to find her the black leotard. They don't make the real things in her size... I guess she will have to wait for her first complete dance outfit for a little while longer!

We caved and finally agreed to let Landon play on the select team. They cornered daddy at the baseball fields when momma wasn't around. They could sense weakness without me around!

Two babies screaming, a 7 year old making enough noise for ten 7 year olds and a sick husband combine for no energy to put pictures in any kind of order!

Happy to report I now weigh 11 lbs!

Havin' a bit of a workout

The hubby brought me gerber daisies the other day out of the blue... trying hard not to assume he has done something that I just don't know about yet!

Dealing with a twin brother can be exhausting!

Dealing with a twin sister can be exhausting!

It has been a long week around our house! Hubby got sick last Sunday and has been feeling horrible all week. He finally broke down and went to the doctor on Thursday and the doc said it was sinuses and allergies and gave him a shot and medicine but it hasn't really done much for him.

Reid and Ella continue to be a handfull but a fun handfull. They are both growing like weeds which is truly a blessing! One day an outfit fits them and the next day it is too small! We will get to have one heck of a kids clothes garage sale one of these days!

Thriller has baseball tryouts this Saturday. He was asked to play on a select team this spring season... but we opted not to do that because we do not really agree with the way the coaches' act both on the field and off... So he is going to take his chances with getting a decent coach during the normal season. PLUS - honestly and unfortunately for him, we just won't be able to have the time for such an extended season!~

Baby Topic - I now know why women that have babies cut their hair! When I was pregnant I cut my hair to chin length and I saw a guy from work that I had not seen in awhile and he of course freaked that I had cut my hair. He asked why do all women immediately cut their hair once they become pregnant or mothers. I told him I didn't know, I did it because it was summer and I was HOT and did not have the energy to deal with long hair.

I NOW know why women do it! Little babies GRAB a hold of it and DON'T LET GO! I have had more hair pulled out already and they are only 4 months old! I should probably say goodbye to all dangling jewerly as well for awhile! GROAN!

I am also so sick of the cold, rainy and dreary weather. I am so ready for Spring and warm weather so the twins and I can at least go outside for a little bit everyday. Being confined to the house with two little ones daily is even worse when it is 32 degrees outside so you can't even just go out in the backyard for a little fresh air!!!!! COME ON SRING... which is really rare for me because that also means BAD WEATHER... arrghhh!
