Trick or Treating in Brownwood

We went trick or treating in Brownwood on Saturday night at the mall. It works out well - Landman gets plenty of candy but we don't have to drive all over town. Plus it is a quick in and out kinda thing which I am all about!
Trying to take pictures of a 7 year-old and two 1 year olds is just about impossible! Someone is either crying, trying to crawl away, not looking at the camera, having a goofy look on their face...I think I would rather attempt to herd stray cats!

Their daddy and Pops are doing some wild and crazy things behind the camera in attempt to get everyone's attention. Just wish someone was filming them!

Walking the trick or treat lane in the mall with Meemaw!

Being kinda shy in his Pops' arms.

The twins got a soft bear and a dragon instead of candy!

If you will notice that little Ladybug is NOT in her costume as she walks the mall - Yes, it is her momma's fault! After the fiasco of picture taking I took it and her wings off because I didn't want to make her ride in the car in it, and between trying to make sure I had bottles, food, diapers, wipes, toys, their older brother in costume with a candy bucket, making sure my hubby and daddy get out the door and then get everybody loaded in the car....yes, you guessed it! I walked out the door and left her costume sitting on the table! So we get to the mall and pull her out to put her costume on and....There you have it!
Other than the missing costume- it was a wonderful weekend in Comanche with Meemaw and Pops!

1st Deer

Landman recorded his first deer kill this weekend in Comanche. He shot a spike that his daddy said needed to be culled. Daddy said he was cool as a cucumber, which is so UNLIKE thriller! Both daddy and Landman were super proud! I voted they should of waited for something bigger but.... I am really just glad they accomplished the little hunting excursion without a trip to the ER!

No More Toothless Goober and WALKING!

My Reidy Pete is no longer our toothless goober! A tooth has finally broken through on his bottom and two on top are on the verge of busting through just any day! Poor child is constantly trying to find relief!

Daddy left the computer unattended within twin territory...and this is what happens. It is so funny to watch them fight with their daddy when he is on the computer and they want on it!

Ella is just days away from being a full on toddler! She is putting steps together with more frequency each day but she still chickens out and drops to her knees. She is so proud of herself though...

She is definately her Meemaw's girl! Loves her elephants...collectibles and politically!

She is gonna be such a little ham! Can't get a pretty picture of her anymore because she loves to make faces at you behind the camera!
Landman's baseball came to an unexpected end....the team disbanded, Mark and I think it had something to do with the fact that nobody ever wanted to come to practice and miss a RANGERS game! LOL!

Happy Birthday Hubby! ...one day late!

Yesterday was my wonderful hubby's birthday! I wouldn't say we celebrated cause honestly that just isn't our style! Meemaw and Pops did meet us on Sunday to eat at a little restuarant in Bluff Dale that the hubby has been wanting to try.

I cooked him stromboli - at his request- and we watched the cowgirls get stomped!

This is the card I bought him - totally appropriate because this is how we approach any holiday or birthday that doesn't involve kids...anniversaries, valentines, etc.

Doesn't mean I love him any less - but when I tell him numerous times everyday how much I love and adore him...it really does make it like any other day in our house!

See baby - I didn't even mention that you turned 42 yesterday! Opps...Sorry! I love you!

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES ?

YES!!

Hello, World Series!

More than anything I am excited for my Mom, Jordon and Grandpa Ervin, who all live and breath Texas Rangers Baseball. I mean literally - Live- for baseball season!

Go RANGERS!

Kinda Embarrassing Kinda Funny

So after I posted that picture of my husband we got to talking about what I looked like back then... So...
This is me in 1987 ...

This is the hubby in 1987....

Me again...

Kinda funny that 19 years later we would marry!!

One Year Shy of a Half Decade

Four years ago today I got to marry this man that makes me laugh, love, smile, and look forward to each new day - even the not so good days are better than the best day without him.

Isn't he just too delicious looking? LOL - even though I came along 20 years after this picture was taken...in my eyes this is what I still see! ....but it also is so HILARIOUS how totally late '80s he looks! LOL!

Happy 4th Anniversary Baby! I love you so much!

Just Like a Little Old Lady

Really I can't say it enough .... how totally cute are my two goobers!

Entertaining Momma!

Yes - we raced them when they learned to crawl and I race them as they are learning to walk! Forgive their mismatched pjs...some nights even momma is so worn out searching for matching tops and bottoms requires too much energy! And yes, some days when daddy comes home from lunch, the twins are still in their night clothes! You raise twins and then you can judge me! LOL!

Any Day Now...

And we will both be walking. Of course by the time we decided to try and film them, Reid had had enough...

Evening in Granbury

We all hit up Downtown Granbury on Saturday evening. It was very pleasant and a nice evening.

Try and find a cuter little boy - I know it can't be done!

Ella takin a break from shopping to sit on the bench with Pops and Daddy. She had her bear and was perfectly happy to just enjoy the nice weather.

Quick group shot before the night was over! Yes - Momma, Daddy, Meemaw and Pops opted to stay behind the camera!

Lost Football Game Pictures

Somehow I managed to miss some photos of the after Bull Sale Football game. They are really some doozies!

Look at that pass rush coverage being executed by uncle cameron!

Just got burned!

HOLY COW! John Wayne was at meemaw and pops' house!

Oh, never mind - just uncle cam!

Twins 1st Bull Sale - Dudley Bros. 49th!

Reid and Ella got to go to their very first Bull Sale this year. And in my opinion that is just as important if not more than all our other firsts! They also got to meet pretty much all the rest of the Dudley side of the family. They were excellent during the whole long day. Guess going to sales is in their blood! They both liked to watch their Pops in action and were not the least bit boogered by the bulls or the horses. It was a very beautiful day and the sale went great! In the land of Dudleys' we call that Utopia!

It was such a short trip from the house to the sale barn we figured we would let Reid drive. He did a good job!

From daddy's lap to Pops' arms!

As always clinging to her Meemaw!

Pretty sure by next year she will be climbing the fence trying to get in the lots with the bulls.

Great Grandpa Ervin keeping an eye on Ladybug.

Don't let go of me Meemaw!!!

Reid pretty much spends his time in auntie Melisa's arms!

Dudley Bros. bulls

My hubby's favorite spot....the Coffee!

Auntie Nicole and Uncle Tyler

Lindsey

Lindsey and Landman....Daddy is already thinking about an arranged marriage here... These two have a blast together but notice how they make sure to keep their distance from each other!

Ladybug thinking about taking a nap.

Such a handsome guy.

I was totally amazed. Landman and Lindsey sat here through over half of the sale...which is pretty amazing for a 7 and 11 year old!

I think watching Pops in the ring is what held their attention for so long!

Watching my daddy in the ring was always the main attraction for me when I was little...but you know me I was terribly nervous the entire time worried a bull was going to get after him!

Rhonda, John, Rueben and Hairball!

Reid enjoyed seeing his Pops and the big bulls.

Tom R. and Lane

Uncle Cameron

Johnny, Lane and Zane

The ultimate Cowpoke!

Meemaw, Landman and Lindsey letting Reid stretch his legs.

Ready for her to be brave enough to let go!

Sugars from daddy.

After the sale, watching the cowboys load bulls.

So glad my children will get to grow up around this kind of lifestyle.

No day would be complete without a little backyard football.

So funny to watch these two...

Uncle Cameron and Lindsey working out their next play.

Uncle Tyler and Landman working out their next play.

Everyone had a blast and it was a great two days! We sure did miss Uncle Jordon, Aunt Lori and little Jordan, whose mean mother made him go to school...but I am not naming any names!! LOL!
