Our Day O Fun!

We had our weekly Day o Fun with Meemaw and Pops yesterday! We just love and look forward to our day o fun! Since we had not seen them since before Valentine's Day, they brought Ella her goodies. Pops gave her a charm bracelet from James Avery and Meemaw gave her a pink monkey and lots of lip gloss. She is such a girlie girl! Isn't she the prettiest little thing EVER!!

 

So happy to see his Pops! They spend at least 20 minutes wrestling and rough housing when Pops first walks into the house!

I have no words!

Meemaw let Ella dip strawberries in chocolate!

And she tried to eat them before her Pops got any!

My little man opted for a nice blue icing cupcake that stained his skin and anything within a 20 foot radius!

I had to break down and allow them to make a huge mess with the paints once Meemaw and Pops headed home to limit the amount of tears and crying that goes along with Meemaw and Pops' departure!

 

And we now count the days until our next day o fun!! Too bad my brothers don't grow some brains and move their families to Fort Worth and we could all have Days o fun....well once everyone is at least 3 years of age or older! hahaha! (Not 15 uncle Jordy! hahaha)

Our Week With Meemaw And Pops

This past week my hubby had to spend a week in Austin...

 

Yup, That is my Man! I am super proud of Sgt. Mark H. Taylor of Internal Affairs!

While he was gone for a week, Pops and Meemaw came and stayed with me and the kiddos! We sure did enjoy having them for so much time! It always makes us sad when they just come for the day and leave in the afternoon!

I would post a picture of the twins inspecting all of their Pops' scraps and scratches, but I was worried the whiteness of his legs may cause blindness!

We also did lots of shopping with Meemaw! And she finds it impossible to say no to Ella when they are walking through Target and Ella says "oh Meemaw, this is cute!" That is code for Meemaw to buy it! She is definitely her Meemaw's little shopper!

An outfit she picked out and put together all by herself! Self-confidence not a problem...let's hope it stays that way!

And no play time with Meemaw would be complete with out a little baseball!

 

We finished the week by me completing my tenure with the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. I am now back to being at home on the weekends! Yippee!
