Catch Up

It has been a pretty crazy and busy week - so I have finally downloaded a bunch of pictures off my phone and from Landman's baseball tournament. Enjoy my beautiful, crazy, fun, exhausting, sweet, hard-headed, smart and wonderful children! I do so on a daily basis!

So sweet when they are sleeping!

Meemaw bought them a big floor puzzle... They love it. My little Ladybug watched me very closely as I put it together and the minute I put her down on it - she started pulling up the pieces. She watches and learns! Reidy Pete just watched her like "um...you are going to be in trouble!"

Such cute little kiddos! Getting ready to go to our 1 year old dr. checkup! Not a fun day - had to get 5 shots! But they sure are beautiful children!

My guy - always with that finger!!!

He is for sure momma's little man! He loves orange juice just like his momma! Ella wasn't so sure about it but Reid kept coming back for more!

The morning of his 1st Birthday! The Hereford stuffed animal was the first gift Reid and Ella received. My friends Laura, Leslie and Brenda brought them to the hospital the day after the twins were born along with lots of adorable Preemie clothes!

Ladybug is always so happy and wants to have a good time. Reid just chills and goes with the flow...such cuties!

Meemaw with her two redneck babies! Ella hates the flash of the camera!

All the players just disappeared!

Ready for anything!

Valient effort. I think this child has a flare for the dramatic! LOL!

I am pretty sure he ended up catching this fly ball!

The Shorthorns got 2nd place at this tournament and they gave them rings! These boys were so proud of them!

Nobody is too skilled at applying the completely unnecessary eye black. Sadly momma gets over ruled on this issue!

Crib

I just had to post this photo I took of my little man last night. I think another crib is in our near future... but I don't know where I would put it. I still can't bring myself to put them in another room yet. Mainly it is laziness on my part. This way when they wake up in the middle of the night I just have to reach over and pull them into bed with us till they go back to sleep. If Ihave to get up and go into another room of the house- I will be wide awake for the rest of the night. If I ever wake up - it is difficult for me to go back to sleep. Just ask my hubby who regularly wakes up at 3 in the morning to find me watching some random weird movie.

My little guy got crowded in the the crib last night and in his attempt to get up and get my attention to put him in our bed...he just fell back asleep. I was dying laughing because he is such a little "linus" he never lets go of his blanket! Not to worry - I did lay him back down, where they both stayed until 5 a.m. They were both wide awake so I had to go ahead and get up with them, which is weird for them because they generally stay asleep until about 7:30. Don't know what their deal was this morning. And their momma is suffering right now from her early morning! Grumble grumble grumble!

Baseball Tournament

Our weekend was consumed with Landman's baseball tournament. Thankfully it wasn't too terribly hot but the humidity didn't help things much. Surprisingly the twins did amazing for being out in the heat for a double-header. Even though I stayed under our canapy with the twins the whole time, I still managed to get burned...yet they did not! Explain that one to me! Reid is pink today but the poor little pasty thing needed some color to him! PawPaw and Sherry and Stephen also came to enjoy a little baseball. It was a good weekend but bring on the Fall weather!

Ladybug was in no humor for a bow today.

Reid was enjoying himself!

This girl has to always have something in her hands!

Keeping cool.

Being her beautiful self!

Pre-game prayer...I know...the team colors make me want to puke too! Notice I tried to even the score with Ella's outfit!

This one has to always have something in his MOUTH!

Cheering crowd enjoying a little picnic lunch of fruit, veggies and sandwhiches.

My handsome and serious husband.

Reid drumming up a storm.

Attack of the twins.

Oh no, she isn't going to be spoiled at all!

By the second game everyone was pretty hot and tired! This is about how his momma looked too!

Will there be a play at the plate?

A little outside.

A rough game.

My little redneck baby... no shirt and saggin' pants. But it was a lot cooler for him to be misted without a shirt!

Playtime

Playtime! Look at my little bug! She is trying to stand up with nothing to hold on to! I am excited for them to start walking but it also makes me sad... They are growing up!
