Reid and Ella had their 1st Birthday party on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at Meemaw and Pops' house in Comanche! It was a blast and a great time was had by all I think! hahaha!
Meemaw decided to host their Bday a couple weeks early so that all the aunts and uncles could make the trip from Lubbock to be in on the fun.
Be prepared for picture overload and I hate picture collages so it is just lots and lots of cute pictures. The twins are so blessed to have so many people that just love and adore them and shower them with beautiful gifts! Thanks to their three aunts - they will be the best dressed little kiddos ever to walk the earth! Their extended family also made sure they had plenty of new toys, books and outfits! Thank you to everyone for making their first birthday such a wonderful one!
Especially their Meemaw and Pops who hosted such a wonderful time and just dote on the twins like they are the greatest thing ever! I can never tell my parents how much I love and appreciate them!
Uncle Jordy!
Little Ladybug never leaves her Meemaw's arms!
Birthday Twins and their Uncle Jordy!
Birthday Babies!
Pops grillin' up a bunch of hotdogs!
Ella, Meemaw, Reid, Auntie Melisa and Auntie Nicole!
The birthday twin's daddy, shagin' fly balls!
Uncle Cameron - He is always activity director for the two boys - (not a volunteer position!)
Landman and Jordan.
No point in actually doing any work like holding our own bottle when you have Aunt Nicole who will do it for you!
Uncle Tyler, Aunt Nicole and Ladybug!
Savannah Grace and Meemaw
Savannah, Stacy and Neil - Savannah looks exactly like her daddy!
Getting ready for our cakes!
Blue for Reid and Pink for Ella!
Reid is a little like his mother and all the people staring and singing at him made him nervous and upset.
Shocking- Big brother trying to steal her icing and she is not happy about it.
Just like a boy - Reid made a mess quickly, but like his momma he realized real quickly he did not like it at all!
My Ladybug is such a dainty little lady even when making a mess!
It took everything in my body to keep from jerking him up and immediately cleaning him off. The mess was killing me!
My little smurf!
She didn't want to get her hands sticky so she just went face first! So cute!
Ella loves her cake!
My little guy even managed to get me covered in icing.
Okay - I have had enough can someone please clean me up?
After a quick bath - Reid was all clean and fresh and ready for more sugars...the kind he doesn't mind - from girls!
Ready for our first present.
Jordan ready to help Reid out.
Ella needed no help going through her clothes!
Wrapping paper won't stop this boy!
Big brother Landman lending a helping hand.
Uncle Cam helping out with the rocking.
Her little old lady walker! hahaha
She can also ride it.
Savannah Grace and Ella Grace. Real age difference is about 4 months. Had Ella Bella and her twin brother not been early birds their age difference would only be 1 month.
The color doesn't bother Reid - he will try to chew on anything no matter what color.
Papa Hairball (don't think that is what Savannah will really call him but it is what I will call him!!) with the next generation of Graces. I know their Great-grandmother is looking down on them and beaming with pride!
My Reidy Pete with his blanket and his new truck.
She is officially the cutest Ladybug EVER! Her Pops agrees without a doubt!
Jordan and Landman running out for a pass.
I am coming for you!
Cutest Boy Ever!
Uncle Tyler and Ella Bella
Who knows what the point of these were.....
Uncle Tyler teaching Reid the finer points of playing football
Already a little linebacker.
Getting ready to make a Barry Sanders like move.
Reid and Uncle Tyler in hot pursuit of Uncle Cameron.
Uncle Cam must of got the pass off but what is with that face?
The next day after most of the party-goers had either gone dove hunting or shopping, Meemaw and I were left with an empty house and the twins. So they finally got to go for a horse ride.
What a face!
My little bronc rider. So cute!
Not going to be a barrel racer but she sure is enjoying her ride.
