Okay, let's see. What have we been up to lately. Working and spring sports. Landon's baseball season has kicked off, so weeknights get disrupted by baseball practice and the dynamic duo has started SOCCER! LOL..They only had one little practice before their first game, so considering that, it went okay. Poor baby girl ran around the field crying for the first five minutes because "bubba won't hold my hand!" It is funny how at different times, different ones will be the out-going one. Reid Marshall just bailed right in and went to running around the field (he could honestly careless about kicking the ball, he just liked running! hahaha) but Ella Grace was a little nervous and wanted to hold Reid's hand and when he refused, it broke her heart! She cried while she ran around chasing Reid trying to make him hold her hand! LOL - She did better once we split them up onto different fields. In my opinion the game was about 15 minutes too long, because all the kids started wanting to be done and just walking off the field! LOL! The joys of 4 year old soccer! But happily after the first little nervousness, Ella got over it and started showing that tenacity her mama so loves!
Just a tad bit co-dependent! LOL
Reid Marshall basically ran for a solid 32 minutes and he was gassed by the end of the game! Sweet boy!
Discussing their first effort with Pops!
I try not to yell, but it is hard when she is standing there with a perfect opportunity to KICK that BALL! LOL!
And lets see, earlier this month, my little girly girl decided she wanted her ears pierced. We talked about it for a couple of days and when Meemaw came to visit she still wanted to do it. We had even discussed that it WAS going to hurt a little bit. I gave her multiple chances to back out, but my Sassy girl was determined!
Meemaw was more nervous and scared than Ella Grace was. I could not believe it and was floored by the fact that this child did not shed a single tear! In fact she smiled the entire time! She gave a quick little "ow!" when each ear was done, but that was it! Girl already knows Beauty is painful sometimes!! She loves her earrings and can not wait to start buying all different ones.
Such a big girl!
The rest of my crew is just perkin' right along. Just being us! LOL! And gosh I am lazy but it is just a pain to download pictures and instagram is so much easier! (Uncle Cameron and Aunt Melisa...I am waiting on ya'll to get on the bandwagon!!)
